Junior Golf at Heathrow Legacy Country Club
Junior golfers come in all ages, skills, and unique playing goals. This requires programs and staff with the experience and skill to develop all players.
Miriam Piland-Rice, LPGA Class A Certified Instructor and US Kids Top 50 Master Instructor has been teaching and building junior programs since the fall of 2012. She has been working alongside British PGA Chris Holmes, Cheryl Anderson LPGA class A, and other Top World and Nationally ranked PGA and LPGA Instructors.
Below you will find information about our junior golf programming. Classes are open to both members and non-members on a space-available basis and all of our staff has been fingerprinted and background checked. Make new friends and improve your skills with our junior golf programs!
Summer Golf Camp 2026
Monday, June 1 – Friday, August 8 (10 consecutive weeks)
Times:
Half Day: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Half Day with Lunch Hour: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (lunch not included)
Full Day: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Get ready for a summer of golf, fun, and skill-building! Our PGA/LPGA certified coaches provide small group instruction, on-course play, pool time, and golf fitness activities designed for all levels. Choose from Intro to Golf (ages 5-11) or Competition Prep (ages 8-15) and make this summer one to remember.

PGA Junior League
This national program is a fun, exciting, and great way to introduce competitive golf in a safe, low-stress environment, against other teams from various area courses. We start our registration in January with registration deadline in February. Practice takes place at the start of February until our In-Season Tournaments take place throughout March, April, and May.
Weekly US Kids Golf Clinics
Ages: 3.5-13 years of age Weekly Junior Golf Clinics are provided in series of 8 weeks sessions during the months of September - May. Classes are divided by age and developmental level with a ratio of a maximum of 6 juniors to 1. Junior Clinics are designed to teach juniors in a stair-step approach their equipment, swings, rules and etiquette in a fun and safe environment. Registration is required.
